I don't know what kind of SnG's you play, but this "turbo strategy" is so essential in DoN's - you fold, fold, fold, and then pick your spot to NOT get called, so you can sit one more round until someone is out. I played regular SnG's some long time ago, however ICM is kind of "native" for me, so I'll get to them for a novice part at least :-) Keep updating.
